Two friends, one of whom is a 30 yr triathlon athlete, both had terrible bike accidents recently. Major facial reconstruction, broken collar bone, jaw, arms etc. Both wearing helmets which perhaps saved their lives. Don’t know the details, but doesn’t surprise me.
